It has been carried several times over the years and used but never abused. The blade is "waterfall"-patterned Damascus steel with a mother-of-pearl thumb stud, is in nice shape with only some light staining/spotting near the pivot, and has not been used to cut since it was sharpened by the factory.
The included, original leather sheath shows a lot of wear from carry as can be seen in the pictures, but has all stitching and the pocket clip intact. Signs of use and carry on the knife include some scuffs and scratches on the anodized backspacer and liners and some scuffs, scratches, dings, and some light tarnish on the silver bolsters. The white mother of pearl scales have scratches and scuffs from pocket carry, as well as a 2-3mm chip out of the lock bar side scale right near the lanyard attachment point.
The original leather lanyard with original beads is intact and attached to the knife.
