This listing is for the (# 091517) B10 Lancet William Henry manual knife which was produced on September 21, 2015. This is a +ONE OF A KIND+ WH knife. This knife is not apart of a numbered set nor big collection.
It is apart of the'Collectors Series of One of a Kind' William Henry knives. In the past, throughout the year, William Henry would quarterly release one. The company no longer does this. You can see in the picture included on the listing of the original exterior display box (NOT the wooden one) the serial number, and the Quarterly confirmation.Meaning this is the only hand-carved sterling silver William Henry B-series lancet knife with fossilized brain coral, and 2 blue topazes in 18k bezels produced in September 2015 that has EVER existed. There are no more and there will never be any more.
The collector's knife blade features the " Boomerang " Damascus pattern meticulously perfected by Chad Nichols. This particular style always looks like a ping of topography or ripples in water. Both sides of the blade are completely different.
It is not a copied and pasted design. The manual thumb and button stone are two blue topazes positioned within 18k gold bezels.
It is stunning a pair of gems that emphasize the placement of the curvy hand-carved sterling silver that is above the ancient fossil scales. You can even see the choice of theme in the carved silver of something similar to coral. It has branches that coil and bend with no guidance, goal or purpose like the ocean itself. It is beautiful in its own chaos. The majestic fossilized brain coral scales are the perfect center piece. This particular fossil is very heavy with the blue while the white is more condensed. It is mind-boggling and inspiring just to sit back and think about what this fossil has seen and weathered through over the centuries. Where it would have grown, drifted, died and finally collected to be molded into something new. Geologists say it could be around 110,000 years old. A slice of a natural history that can be in your pocket or displayed in your favorite office or room. Please, refer to the COA for referencing specifically about the scales and other details regarding the Knife. The display box, insert piece, carrying case and fine black leather clip-case are in prime, new condition.
The only weathered places are from the black flakes upon the stretched COA paper lining. The knife has never been carried or sharpened. It is in pristine condition as well. Please, do not hesitate to contact me with questions.I take a variety of pictures every time to try and get every angle. If you would like further pictures, message me! The seashells do not come with the knife. This listing is for the knife, knife box, knife COA, clipcase and the William Henry mini-CD.
