Tobin Toby Hill Custom Stag Tail Lock Folding Knife - RARE

This is a rare find -- a Ron Lake-style tail lock by Toby Hill. Hill, who studied with Bill Ruple, has earned a reputation for exquisite materials and detail, and this piece is a stunning example. From the blade shape and grind, to the prettiest amber stag I've seen in a long time, this knife was clearly an homage to the late great Ron Lake. And what a masterful result. It features a hand-rubbed satin finished blade with nail nick.

Gorgeous stag handles with arrowhead escutcheon, pinched bolsters, stainless steel tail lock and spring, and file-working on the spine. Excellent snap, blade seating, and lockup.
