I DO NOT SUPPORT CLONES/FAKES/KNIFE INDUSTRY THEFT. Mick Strider Custom Shop XL Recurve Knife in Dazzle Camouflage... This Mick Strider XL is really something special! Superbly smooth, solid, nice detent, zero blade play, centered blade, tremendous custom milled titanium scales, and Mick's terrific see-through pivot. More about this amazing Mick Strider Custom Shop XL Recurve: The spearpoint profile with a slight recurve is a great all-round blade profile with clean grind lines for a useful, capable blade. Jimping on the spine for more control and grip. This one is finished with a black oxide blade, and has been given a super complex multi color Battleship camouflage finish reminiscent of WWI Dazzle camouflage used on warships (see last two pictures as examples). The camouflage finishes are incredibly tough and will stand up to heavy use and abuse!

The beveled style frame has milled decorative lines and an ambidextrous titanium clip. The tough Battleship camouflage finish continues on to the frame, which started life with a bright stonewashed finish resulting in a cool finish that contrasts well against both the pattern on the frame and the darker blade. All titanium hardware has a natural satin finish.

Credited to the British marine artist Norman Wilkinson, though with a rejected prior claim by the zoologist John Graham Kerr, it consisted of complex patterns of geometric shapes in contrasting colors, interrupting and intersecting each other. Unlike other forms of camouflage, the intention of dazzle camouflage is not to conceal but to make it difficult to estimate a target's range, speed, and heading. Overall Length: 9.75 in.
