BRAND NEW Olamic Wayfarer with 4 Satin Sheepscliffe CTS-XHP Steel Blade, Thunderstorm Kevlar Handle Scales with C-TEK Inlays & Titanium-Damascus Pocket Clip & Arrowhead Filework on Backspacer Serial Number W1029. A VERY Handsome One-Off Custom!! My photos of the handle scales on this knife absolutely don't do justice -- if you've never seen Thunderstorm Kevlar in person, you're in for a treat! This material has a background that appears like woven fiber twine, but the tiny threads of reflective gold is what REALLY makes it pop!

My photos make the "threads" appear a boring yellow (or they don't show at all), but they're extremely reflective in the right light, and disappear at other angles, making for an extremely interesting visual. This same material LOOKS like it should have depth and feel extremely coarse, but it's satin smooth to the touch. This is a brand new Olamic Cutlery Wayfarer Custom One-Off. Olamic is one of a dying breed of companies HAND-BUILDING knives ONE by ONE right here in the USA. While the size and shape parameters define the Wayfarer model, 95% of the Wayfarer knives Olamic builds are unique -- due to the variety of handle materials, blade finishes, and filework that can be done, it is extremely unlikely that a design will ever be duplicated.

Olamic works with a large variety of handle materials and creates unique and creative handle designs, making, at most, ten knives per week (usually fewer than that). The Wayfarer is a large folder (measuring roughly 9-1/4 overall) that offers up a large canvas to work with. This knife features a satin finished CTS-XHP steel blade in the Sheepscliffe blade shape with the afore-mentioned Thunderstorm Kevlar handle scales with red and green C-TEK inlays.

It also has a Ti-Damascus pocket clip and over-the-top arrowhead filework on the backspacer. This knife is SPECTACULAR in both color AND design -- the two-tone, multi-bevel blade is EXTREMELY sharp shaving sharp!! Blade centering is SPOT ON, and I know once you lay eyes on this beast, you'll instantly be in love! Again, my photos honestly do not do this knife justice. Wayfarer models come standard with a 4 blade that runs as smooth as silk on a caged bearing.

Wayfarers feature a liner lock that is extremely strong and durable. All Wayfarers are also flippers -- simply pull back firmly on the flipper lever, and the knife will pop open with authority, ready for use.

You'll have to see this knife in person to understand just how utterly beautiful she really is.
