Completely awesome MSC Mick Strider SnG Folding Tactical Knife - Frag Edition - Performance Series. This is a Limited Edition from MonkeyEdge. I've had both the first generation (a darker gray and much more purple anodized handle) and this one, which is a lighter purple handle, tumbled to the "Old Flame" finish. This Old Flame version has seen very little pocket time, opened a box or 2, and has a shiny spot or two on the CrN coated blade (see photos). Edge is razor sharp, just like it came from Mick - no damage. It closes dead-nut center, perfect.

No lock rock or lock stick. This larger frag pattern handle is great, and won't cause hot spots like the gunner grip. Add this one to your collection!

The MonkeyEdge FRAG story goes like this: During 2015 there was a run of Mick Strider Custom Performance Series SnG in the world famous Monkey Edge FRAG Pattern. Thank goodness Mick was awesome and produced another another limited run of the MSC PS SnG in MEFP! This Second Edition edition has a frame with Old Flame finish. It is Mick's magic multi color anodized finish that is then tumbled to give a cool, patina vibe.

The blade is coated with dark gray chromium nitride (CrN) for outstanding corrosion resistance. About the Mick Strider Performance Series: The Performance Series was envisioned to give people the chance to get Mick Strider Custom Shop knife quality at a price lower than a full, hand ground, Mick custom. The only difference is that the blades are machine ground rather than hand ground. Each knife is hand built and tuned by Mick. The Performance Series are an evolution of the tried and true SnG design and incorporates a number of refinements such as the lanyard hole has been moved and is now a slot as well as a new titanium pivot design.
