Mick Strider Custom MSC XL Masterpiece full Damascus San Mai knife

Mick Strider Custom XL Masterpiece full Damascus in excellent, never used(of course), never handled condition. The few times I've examined it I held it with a microfiber cloth and I'm the first owner of it. Monkeyedge recently had one for sale for 8750 and arguably was not as nice as this. Their's weighed 14.4 oz where this weighs 14.9 oz as shown in photo. Perfect blade centering, lock up and blade release.

The buttery smoothness of blade operation is almost indescribable. It would appear Mick uses same pivot on all current knives. The XL with standard materials has very nice blade operation.

The Stubby is smooth but rather stiff as it doesn't have the weight in blade or length to develop momentum for blade movement. This one glides practically on it's own once started unlike the others. Fully sole authored Damascus by Mick Strider with San Mai blade. Length is 9 3/4" with 4 1/4" blade. They have no business taking the percentage they do for something at this price level.
