Koch Tools Gnat Friction Folder Knife in Blue Anodized Ti Blade with Brown Micarta handles. Takeaways, for those not into reading. Handle milling shows off natural variation in Micarta coloring.
Non-locking and small size makes it carryable in more places. Extended blade adds additional way to deploy blade.
A small insect capable of grabbing your attention. This Gnat, designed and built in the USA by Justin Koch of Koch Tools, is a small knife that garners A LOT of attention.
It starts with a compact size and light weight, adds a versatile material for handles (in this case Micarta Canvas) and finishes it with an amazing blade. Speaking of the blade, lets talk about it for a second. This mini sheepsfoot blade is made in titanium, features an extended tang with jimping for non-slip finger deployment (we recommend a two handed operation for the first few), and features an anodized finish. On the back (logo side) of the blade, it has a unique finish down near the cutting surface and is unique to each Gnat in this series. We consider ourselves lucky just to snag these for you!
