These knives are some of what remains of his personal knife collection. Most of the knives are older, and I suspect these are at least 15-20 years old. I showed these to someone who knows knives and they told me how to describe them and value them. So use your own judgment. I have been getting interesting comments and quite a few inquiries (and a few offers), so I've decided to post a few more pictures. If I hear from them, I will update the listing. I found blogs about fake knives and knock-offs made in China.

These look very different than those. I also found some blogs indicating that newer Hubertus knives are not as good in quality as they used to be (the company has a long tradition, since 1899, and are still family-owned). I found sites that sell knock-offs, definitely Chinese (not sure how they get away with this), and even read blogs that indicated new manufacturing was occurring in China.

I have no idea what of this is true or not true... But I trust my brother's judgement in having these in his collection, and also that of the experienced knife-maker who looked at these for me (he also cleaned and oiled them).
