The transition between materials along the spine are seamless along the full length backspacer. Contoured, polished, and matte finished high vis orange. G-10 scales and bronzed titanium liners. The recurve blade has mirror polished flats, hand satin grinds, and symetrical sweeping grinds. Runs glass smooth on washers with a Chris Reeve Sebenza style setup (larger washer on the front side). Also front-flips well for a design that I don't think it was intended to be a frontflipper.
