Mint 1973 Vintage Puma Waidbestack knife set with stag handles. It is also called The Super Set. The control tag date stamp is 52372 for the Waidblatt and also 52372 for the Jadnicker. The set consists of a Puma 3588 Waidblatt and a 3588 1/2 Nicker (Jadnicker) Both knives were made in the 2nd half of 1973. The Puma model numbers are 3588 & 3588 1/2. The knife set is over 45 years old. This is a chance to own a great piece of Puma cutlery history. The Waidblatt blade is German carbon steel and the handle is genuine sambar stag with three brass rivets and the silver hex inlaid shield. The handle also has a lanyard hole. The pommel and cross guard is polished German silver. The blade of the Jadnicker is German stainless steel (Inox) and the handle is sambar stag with three brass rivets. The Waidblatt measures 13" overall with a 8 1/2" blade.
