The knife is cradled in a custom cut foam insert. The foam is removable and the case can be put to a myriad of other uses. The case is waterproof and includes a strap and interior padded lid. The second integration of a knife blade into our tires used the QTR3 as the foundation of the Trail Blade X/T. In the case of this urban all-terrain tire, the blade serves as the sidewall tread lug and the handle becomes the first shoulder tread block. Not only is it a stunningly aggressive tire, but both the knife and tire work perfectly for their intended applications. A mid-sized tanto with a gunner? The knife blade rotates shy of 180 degrees, allowing for a more pistol grip-like feel. A finger guard moonlights as a flipper device when the knife is closed and the use of the ORB® pivot system and tri-spoke pivot assembly make this knife nearly effortless to open.

The large jimping on the blade spine act as a thumb rest and where the blade meets the frame, the jimps are continued and widened to increase confidence in your grip during heavy use. The rear of the handle is slightly elongated to allow the knife to extend slightly past your palm help with stability. Ve added ambidextrous thumb-studs which have been individually machined for extra traction. Ll find two thumb studs on each side of this knife.

For the Atturo XT edition, the tri-spoke pivot and the plug are finished in the Atturo shade of zombie green. Here, the spine has the Atturo name, while the logo is featured on the blade.
