Darriel Caston and his company D Rocket Design was tapped by Space-X (Elon Musk aerospace company) to produce a custom tactical knife.

From that partnership, the SpaceX Double-Pump EDC Flipper folding knife was born. Darriel Caston has been designing knives, pens and other cool EDC stuff for years but only recently have his designs and products come into the limelight on the mainstream EDC stage. With the recent release of his SpaceX Double Pump EDC Flipper and the even more recently released and complete sell-out of the TADgear version of this knife, his name is becoming synonymous with precision high tech meets sensible and cool tactical design.
