It is built overseas (Ultramar we get it), by the quality obsessed craftsmen at Reate. These knives use a 3.3 inch S35VN steel blade finished to a Tanto point and features a thumb stud. Weve been told that the action was specifically designed to feel just like the original. The Black PVD finish on the blade matches the finish on the Titanium handles work side.

It is also finished with a Chaves signature Skull Clip. The show side of this model is a full G10 scale in EDCaddiction'Code Orange (read Safety or Hunter Orange whereas the original runs of the Ultramar had Micarta inserts). Since there is a better chance of meeting your maker than getting on to Ramons books for a custom knife, this piece is one of the few ways to carry a Chaves, but with an EDCaddiciton Code Orange exclusive, your sure to have a blade only a few other people have even seen.
